About Spirit Girls’ Night Out—an evening in Paris

An evening in Paris is a gala event dedicated to you and your girlfriends, your mom, your aunts, your sisters, your teenage daughters—every woman you know. It’s a night of food, fun and festivities designed to lift your spirits and celebrate your health.

Spirit Girls’ Night Out is one of many exciting events being sponsored by Methodist Health System in cooperation with Spirit of Women, a national coalition of health care providers working together to raise the standards of wellness for women and motivate them to make positive, healthy changes in their lives.

Methodist Health System is the only health system in the metro area that supports and embraces the educational initiatives and health-related activities of Spirit of Women. Methodist Health System and Spirit of Women celebrate the power of women to influence and inspire by helping them focus on healthier lifestyles and preventive care. 

Admission

It’s free! In the spirit of giving, however, Methodist Health System has partnered with the YWCA in collecting fashionably current, like-new clothing and accessories (especially gloves, hats and scarves) for the YWCA Career Closet. Items of gently used business attire would be most appreciated and accepted at the door. Merci beaucoup!

Relax and kick back

Café tables, sculpted trees with white lights, benches, French-themed decorations and displays of the work of local artists will transport you to a Parisian parklike setting. Magnifique!

Sample great food

Delectable cheese trays, crudités, fruits and desserts will be served. Coffee and tea will be provided. Or choose from a selection of soda, wine or beer at the cash bar. Bon appétit!

Enjoy fabulous live entertainment

Professionals and students from the University of Nebraska at Omaha will bring their jazz stylings to the scene through an electric ensemble. Formidable!

Directions & Parking

The Embassy Suites Omaha—La Vista is conveniently located just off I-80, via Giles Road (Exit 442) in La Vista’s Southport development.

From Interstate 80, Heading East from Lincoln:

Exit at Giles Road (Exit 442) and turn right. Take the first right onto Southport Parkway. Turn right again onto Westport Parkway and the hotel will be on the right.

From Interstate 80, Heading West from Downtown Omaha:

Exit at Giles Road (Exit 442) and turn left. Take the first right onto Southport Parkway. Turn right again onto Westport Parkway and the hotel will be on the right.

Parking

Guests may park in the Embassy Suites, Cabela's or Securities America parking lots. Shuttle service between the parking lots and the door will be available from 6 - 9:15 p.m. Parking lots will be monitored by security personnel. View and print the map of shuttle parking.
