Adolescent GYN Topic of July 12 Web Chat

Methodist Health System, ParentSavvy and KETV are partnering for a online web chat Thursday, July 12 from noon to 1 p.m.

Experts from Methodist Health System will talk about the Adolescent GYN clinic now available at the Methodist Women's Center, common gynecological conditions many young girls face, developmental concerns and much more.

Participating in the live chat will be Dr. Tifany Somer-Shely and Dr. Judith Scott.

 

 Dr. Scott is a board-certified OB-GYN at Methodist Physicians Clinic Women’s Center. She attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J. Her residency training was completed at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is one of four physicians that provide adolescent GYN care at the Adolescent GYN Clinic.


Also a board-certified OB-GYN, Dr. Somer-Shely attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and did her residency training at Aurora Health Care/University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She played a key role in establishing the Adolescent GYN clinic at the Methodist Physicians Clinic Women’s Center; further solidifying the 192 Dodge Campus as a center of excellence for women’s health care.
