Sexual Assault Twitter Chat: Sunday, April 21, 5 P.M.
To increase awareness, education and preventive measures regarding sexual assault, Methodist is partnering with UNO and the WCA (formerly YWCA Omaha) to host a Twitter chat on Sunday, April 21. Join the discussion on Twitter at 5 p.m. using hashtag #BeAwareOutThere. Methodist SANE nurses and counselors from UNO’s Voices Against Violence will share prevention tips, warning signs and much more.
MHS Heidi Wilke SANE/SART Survivor Program
The Heidi Wilke SANE/SART Survivor Program is available at the emergency departments at both Methodist Hospital (84th & Dodge) and Methodist Women’s Hospital (192nd & West Dodge Road). Since the Heidi Wilke SANE/SART Survivor Program started in 2003, we have provided specialized services to more than 1,000 victims of sexual assault, many under 25 years of age.
