At Methodist Physicians Clinic - HealthWest, our pediatricians treat your children with the special care they need and deserve. Our pediatric professionals are dedicated experts in the special health care needs of children.

Our board certified pediatricians manage the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of their patients, in every stage of development — in good health or in illness. Our services range from baby care and immunizations to kindergarten physicals and more.

However, our pediatricians are concerned with more than physical well-being. They also are involved with the prevention, early detection, and management of other problems that affect children and adolescents, including the following:

• behavioral difficulties
• developmental disorder
• functional problem
• social stresses
• depression or anxiety disorders

Saturday, 8 a.m. – noon

Topics for Parents

Our pediatricians find great value in offering tools for education and awareness on the importance of literacy in our community. As a result, the pediatricians have spear-headed a program entitled, Reach Out and Read. As part of their mission, the medical staff distributes new books to parents during every physical and well-baby visit. Additionally, a child-friendly library has been arranged in the waiting area for children to sit with parents and pick from a large array of age-appropriate books.  When they leave, children have the opportunity to take a book from the library home with them as well.
