Methodist Hospital Stroke Program
The Methodist Hospital Stroke Program is comprised of an interdisciplinary team that is committed to improving the quality of life for those who have suffered a stroke and their families, through coordinated stroke care, education and rehabilitation.
Our team includes specialty trained physicians, nurses and therapists who support the patient and family from the time they enter the Emergency Department, during the acute hospital stay, during rehabilitation and when they return to the community.
Our goal is to provide individualized care and education to meet each patient and families needs while promoting functional independence and future stroke prevention.
Methodist Hospital also offers specialized physical, speech and occupational therapy for patients who have suffered a stroke.
