Methodist Breast Care Center

Women who have been patients here know the special nature of our care. Our Breast Care Center is again recognized for excellence by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, a quality-assurance program administered by the American College of Surgeons.

Ours was the first breast care center in the region to receive this level of endorsement and re-certification. The NAPBC certification is granted only to breast centers who voluntarily commit to the highest standard of care and undergo a rigorous evaluation of their treatment process.

The recognition means a lot to us. Here’s what it means to you. You won’t encounter a group more dedicated to women’s breast health anywhere. A multidisciplinary team approach. State-of-the-art technology and the latest clinical trials. A passion for education, prevention and early detection. And a comprehensive survivorship program.

Methodist Breast Care Center Receives 5-Star Award

Methodist Breast Care Center also received a 2012 5-Star Award for overall quality of care for outpatient breast health from Professional Research Consultants.

A Personalized Approach

The Breast Care Center offers many unique benefits, including a personalized approach to a woman's individual needs and weekly breast tumor conferences that bring together the skills and experience of specialists, including surgical oncologists, general and reconstructive surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses and other specialists. All work in tandem to discuss diagnoses and confirm the best possible course of treatment for every patient.

Our dedicated and compassionate nurses coordinate breast health care for all Breast Care Center patients, helping them navigate through the appointments and choices they may face on the way to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Methodist Breast Care Center also has lymphedema therapy services.
