The Methodist Lung Cancer Clinic is a multidisciplinary program committed to providing the most comprehensive, thorough care available for patients suspected to have or currently diagnosed with lung cancer.  Our team approach utilizes the knowledge, expertise, and experience of specialists in Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Thoracic Radiology, and Pathology.  This collaborative approach assures diagnostic efficiency and provides a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan for every patient seen in our clinic.

Treatment Planning
Your Methodist Lung/Thoracic Oncology team will meet to discuss the results of your tests and/or procedures. Working together, your team will develop a treatment plan specifically for you and your situation.

Your treatment plan may involve participation in a clinical trial or protocol. Clinical trials are very carefully planned, organized and monitored treatments. As a result, they generally provide the most effective treatment as well as valuable information that improve lung cancer care as a whole. Most advances in lung cancer treatment are due to the results of clinical trials.
