Chest Pain Center

Jennie Edmundson Hospital's certified Chest Pain Center and the Clinical Decision Unit at Methodist Hospital offer round-the-clock access to expert, time-critical care.

Staff members are experienced cardiac care clinicians certified in advanced cardiac life support. Patients with acute coronary symptoms are evaluated to prevent inadvertent discharge, minimize unnecessary admissions and provide rapid transfer within the hospital for further testing and treatment as needed.

Assessment may include lab work, stress testing and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, including 64-slice CT scans.
