A source of information and encouragement, the lactation consultants at Methodist Health System can answer questions and help women be successful with breastfeeding. Lactation consultants can assist in many ways, including:- Training to pump and store milk safely
- Evaluating breast pain or infections
- Teaching how to nurse multiples or babies with special needs
- Knowing if your baby is getting enough milk
Our certified lactation consultants at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Methodist Women's Hospital provide specialized one-on-one care and instruction to help new mothers breastfeed successfully.
