Lactation consultants are available to answer your questions about breastfeeding. E-mail your question and a lactation consultant will reply to you within 48 hours, lactationconsultants@nmhs.org.A source of information and encouragement, the lactation consultants at Methodist Hospital can answer questions and help women be successful with breastfeeding. Lactation consultants can assist in many ways, including:
- Training to pump and store milk safely
- Evaluating breast pain or infections
- Teaching how to nurse multiples or babies with special needs
- Knowing if your baby is getting enough milk
Our certified lactation consultants provide specialized one-on-one care and instruction to help new mothers breastfeed successfully.
