Nebraska Methodist College Named Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs Magazine

OMAHA -- G.I. Jobs Magazine has named the Nebraska Methodist College – the Josie Harper Campus (NMC) one of its top Military Friendly Schools for 2013.

Inclusion on the 2013 list of Military Friendly Schools demonstrates NMC’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for military students and their families.

“Nebraska Methodist College is proud to be recognized as a Military Friendly School,” said NMC President and CEO, Dennis Joslin, Ph.D. “We strive to expand our college benefits and services offered to military students and embrace their needs as they seek a degree in health care.”

G.I. Jobs has been recognizing colleges and universities for four years. Magazine staff compiles the list of military-friendly colleges through data-driven research on the schools approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

More information about the Military Friendly Schools found at www.militaryfriendlyschools.com. The 1,739 colleges, universities and trade schools on this year's list exhibit leading practices in the recruitment and retention of students with military experience.
