'Don't Learn the Hard Way Like Me': Woman Takes to Social Media After COVID-19 Puts Her in Hospital

Erin McGill was a healthy, 31-year-old woman who had plenty to celebrate this fall. Not long after she and her fiance celebrated their engagement, things took a scary turn. McGill got COVID-19.

After battling symptoms including chills, fevers and a serious cough, she was admitted to Methodist Hospital.

Now on the mend, she has a message for others about the serious nature of COVID-19 and its impact on health care workers caring for patients.
