Surgical Patients and Visitors
Whether you will be a patient or visiting a loved one having surgery, we have designed comforts to help during this time.
Surgery waiting areas
The second-floor lobby has been designed as the main waiting area for a surgical patient's loved ones. The area is furnished with televisions, computer stations and comfortable furniture for your comfort. You are also invited to wait in the first-floor lobby or the dining room on the first floor.
Real-time patient updates
If your loved one is having surgery, waiting can seem long. For those waiting at the hospital during a loved one's surgery, we provide real-time monitors to track the loved one's progress through the procedure.
Food service for visitors
While you wait for your loved one to progress through surgery, you are invited to use our food service - including our chef-prepared meals or our 24-hour room service.
Our operating suites, prep and recovery areas are designed for women's surgical needs. Learn more about the surgical suites and the safety and comfort we have built in.
Preparing for surgery
Our Surgical Services Booklet (also available in Spanish) contains more detailed information about your surgery preparation, maps to the location and additional helpful information. If you have questions regarding your procedure, call your surgeon or health care provider. Our Bathing Before Surgery (also available in Spanish) sheet also contains important pre-op information.
