Minimally Invasive Surgery
If your surgical procedure is a candidate for a minimally-invasive approach, we offer both laporascopic and robotic surgery.
If you are a candidate for a minimally invasive hysterectomy, we several options:
- Laparoscopally-assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH)
Women who are able to receive this type of hysterectomy typically have shorter hospital stays, less pain and can often return to work sooner than traditional surgeries.
For women with organ prolapse or incontinent issues, surgery is sometimes the answer. Specially-trained urogynecologists treat these issues with office-based procedures as well as surgery. Learn more about the Methodist Physicians Clinic Women's Center Urogynecologists and the conditions they treat.
