Pulmonary Rehab is an outpatient program that meets twice a week. The program typically runs 6 to 12 weeks. During this time, a specific exercise program based upon individual needs is developed. Each rehab session consists of both exercise and ongoing education. The Pulmonary Rehab Staff consists of respiratory therapists, exercise specialists, nurses, dieticians, Medical Social Workers and a diabetic specialist.
Pulmonary Rehab has a well-equipped exercise room in the Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Department, where patients gradually increase their strength and endurance.
