Digital Radiography (X-Ray)
Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging that works similar to a digital camera, only better. X-ray images are acquired using state-of-the-art digital radiography technology instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Every image is read by our on-site board-certified radiologists.
Images are stored and managed using the PACS system, which allows for rapid access of images and reports from multiple areas within Methodist Fremont Health Medical Center and throughout the medical community.
