  • Echocardiogram
  • Resting echo
  • Stress echo
  • Transesophageal echo
Accredited by the Intersocietal Commission on Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL)

Heart Station

An electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) is a test that checks for problems with the electrical activity of your heart. This is a non-invasive, painless test which helps your physician diagnose patterns in your heart rhythms to help determine your treatment. The Holter monitor is a small device which you wear for a few days to record your heart rhythms.

  • Holter monitoring for irregular heartbeats
  • EKGs for checking heart rhythms

Vascular Lab

Non-invasive diagnostic services provided in the vascular lab use ultrasound imaging, doppler imaging and physiologic testing to view your vascular system including:

  • Peripheral artery
  • Carotid artery
  • Aortic aneurysm
Accredited by the Intersocietal Commission on the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL)

Methodist Hospital Vascular Laboratory Accredited

Methodist Hospital, Methodist Women’s Hospital and Methodist Cardiac and Vascular Center have been granted a three-year re-accreditation in vascular diagnostic testing by the Inter-societal Accreditation Commission (IAC).  The areas re-accredited include extra cranial cerebral-vascular testing, peripheral arterial testing and peripheral venous testing.
