Methodist expands urgent care, occupational medicine services to downtown Omaha

Methodist Health System is excited to announce that urgent care and occupational medicine services are available at a new Methodist clinic location in downtown Omaha.

The clinic is at 312 S. 15th St., just south of 15th and Farnam streets. Its urgent care providers are trained in caring for a range of minor injuries and illnesses, including:

• Cold and flu symptoms
• Cuts and bruises
• Earaches
• Minor skin infections and rashes
• Pink eye
• Sinus infections
• Sore throats
• Sprains and strains

“We know how important it is for people to have health care options that fit their unique needs – whether it’s primary care, urgent care or emergency medicine,” said Michael Ortmeier, senior director of clinic operations for Methodist Physicians Clinic. “With its convenient hours and location, Methodist Urgent Care is excited to bring urgent care services to downtown Omaha.”

The new clinic’s occupational medicine services are geared toward meeting the unique needs of area businesses and their employees. Available occupational health services include:

• Breath alcohol testing
• Rapid-result urine drug screenings
• Injured worker care

Additional services may be available upon request.

Methodist Urgent Care in downtown Omaha is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Weekend and holiday hours are noon to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. For more information, call (402) 354-CARE.
