After her out-of-state sister-in-law’s death during childbirth because of a rare complication, Methodist Fremont Health labor and delivery nurse Ashtynn Neill worked toward introducing education and training to help staff members, moms and babies in Fremont. Now hospital staff members are better equipped to care for women and babies in the event of an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE).
