Thank you to every person who cared for me...
An open letter to the physicians and staff at Methodist Hospital
I was recently in Methodist Hospital for surgery and 5 days of care. My experience started with my surgeon, Dr. Andrew Coughlin, who was so personable and made sure I understood what my surgery would entail.
Dr. Coughlin called me the night before surgery and also the day after dismissal. I also appreciated the nursing staff in his office, Katie Holling, in particular. Helpful, caring, and willing to answer any question I had. Dr. Coughlin and his staff made me feel much more at ease.
I also had another surgeon, Dr. Lydiatt that showed the same concern and care. During my 8 hour surgery, my family was informed hourly about the progress, which I am so happy about.
Surgery and hospitals are never a great place to be, but the people associated with Methodist Hospital from my admission to my dismissal were OUTSTANDING!
My care in the hospital was awesome. Please commend every nurse, patient assistant, RN, housekeeper, food service employee, PT, OT, and anyone else I missed, that dealt with my care on 6th North.
Outstanding care and concern were shown by everyone. Surgery and hospitals are never a great place to be, but the people associated with Methodist Hospital from my admission to my dismissal were OUTSTANDING! Thanks to all of you for what you do!
