Heart Failure Program

Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital offers heart failure management for those patients who are diagnosed with heart failure.

Heart failure patients have not had a heart attack, but one can occur because their heart muscles are weakened. Heart failure is not curable, but it is treatable with medication, diet, exercise and consistent medical follow-up.

The heart failure program provides a comprehensive plan to assist patients with heart failure, manage the symptoms and help them maintain an optimal quality of life.

Professionals trained in heart failure management work with the patient's physician throughout the program to ensure that the patient's goals are being met.
