Treatment

Our head and neck surgical oncologists are specially trained to treat malignant and benign tumors involving the:

  • Face
  • Gingiva (gums) and facial bone tumors
  • Larynx (voice box)
  • Oral cavity (lips, mouth, tongue)
  • Parathyroid gland
  • Pharynx (throat)
  • Salivary glands
  • Sinuses and nasal cavity
  • Thyroid

Our team of highly skilled providers also has extensive experience in treating a number of endocrine disorders. In an effort to enhance patient experience and recovery, they use pain management techniques to reduce the use of opioids, as well as minimally invasive treatment options, including:

  • Sialendoscopy
This safe and effective technique uses narrow endoscopes to diagnose and treat obstructions and conditions of the salivary glands.
  • Transoral robotic surgery (TORS)
This robotic surgery technique is used to remove tumors while eliminating scarring.
  • Skull base surgery
Using a personalized approach to skull base tumors, including pituitary masses, we rely on a multidisciplinary team of experts to determine whether minimally invasive or open surgery is the best course of treatment.
