Facilitated by Olson Center licensed social workers, this free support group provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to share thoughts and concerns while learning new coping techniques. The group is open to expectant mothers or mothers with a baby under 12 months of age. Partners, support persons and babies under 12 months of age are welcome. Participants may attend as often as they desire.

Postpartum Support International Online Support Groups

There are more than 20 different PSI support groups available, with each group meeting lasting about 90 minutes. The first 30 minutes is typically spent offering information and education while establishing group guidelines. The rest of the meeting is generally considered “talk time,” when group members are invited to share stories, experiences, thoughts and concerns with each other. Group members must be present for the group guidelines before participating in group discussion or “talk time.”

Weekly, bimonthly and monthly groups are available with English- and Spanish-speaking facilitators.

Postpartum Support International Local Peer Support

PSI support coordinators provide information, support and resource referrals while addressing mental health challenges during pregnancy and/or the postpartum period. Moms, family members and providers are welcome.

Postpartum Support International Help for Dads

As part of its commitment to a whole-family, partner-inclusive approach to perinatal mental health, PSI offers a helpline, support groups and a variety of resources to help partners address their own mental health.
